AS I read and studied our new assignment, I was clueless on how completing this assignment thoroughly. When I looked up, I saw my solution, there it was, the Internet. When you really think about it, there are countless things that could not be done without technology and its modern sources that simplify many difficult tasks.
As a future educator I personally find this assignment to be helpful in many ways. One of the first things I realized is that I cannot be a successful teacher without knowing vital rules of the FEAP. Rules of the FEAP include, the (EAP) Florida Educator Accomplished Practice, which indicates: “The professional teacher uses technology (adequately) to establish the active learning environment with existing and innovative technologies available at the school site. She/he provides students with opportunities to use technology to gather and share information with others, and facilitates access to the use of electronic resources.” This rule makes me aware of the Internet service at schools.
Through this assignment, I now comprehend that parents/guardians and students could be notified that their daughter/son will have a secure and efficient manner to use the Internet. However, the use of Internet through the school is a benefit, and therefore not required. Consequently, any inadequate use, may be an immediate elimination of this benefit. Due to the Legislation, the school will provide information on the following legislation relating to use of the Internet in which educators, parents and students should be familiar with:
· Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003
· Child Trafficking and Pornography Act 1998
· Interception Act 1993
· Video Recordings Act 1989
· The Data Protection Act 1988
It is important that students must get a password or are allowed by a teacher/administrator to have access to any network, website, or any application.
Moreover, the impacts our nation’s young students receive every day from technology has numerous benefits. One of them is that they are able to create, design, and learn network programming with websites, also that they will have the opportunity to enhance their abilities on posting artwork, projects (as policies and approval processes, according to the content that can be loaded to the school’s website, require), homework assignments. Sources like these, just gives students more options to creativity.
In conclusion, as the world’s most powerful nation grows and creates new computer technology to prepare our future leaders, the more capable we will be as teachers of succeeding in the teaching field. Ways of improving the learning experience of our children are offering our assistance to increase their knowledge, studying skills and motivation. We, teachers must also update our skills by attending conferences, seminaries and parent meetings. Achieving our goals and helping our students achieve theirs will pay off with a successful, emerging nation.

Good post. This reflection (and others) will eventually be included in your portfolio. We will do this at the end of term. This will be a good example.
